I had been to this location of Jack Astor's in the past, but I haven't been in a while. I was thoroughly impressed with this place! We decided to sit outside since it was a nice day. Our server came out right away and gave us our menus. She was kind and helpful when we were making our meal selections. I chose the honey garlic chicken fingers with sweet potato fries. They were very delicious! The chicken fingers came with two types of dips, and the sweet potato fries came in a small dish which was very convenient. I've been coming here for years having lived only 3 minutes away. This is a true diamond in the rough. Not a fancy place by far but the chicken wings are the best in town. Go on there mon or tues .40 cent wing night's and you will be pleased. Order them grilled. Great place to watch a leaf game and drink a pitcher of beer with wings. Read more

We've been a few times and it is always great food, wonderful personal service, and fantastic ambience. Has the feel of a central european cafe/pub, where they do their own baking. Been for lunch and the food is great, and decently priced for what you get. Also been for dinner with my wife while going to Rose Theatre, and went back for drinks afterwards. We've been to Tracks a few times and always know we can get a good meal for a good price. Our absolute favorite is the Beef Dip and Fish & Chips (you actually get two large pieces of fish for a great price!). They've added some better wine choices to their menu and larger wine glasses, home brew is always a good choice. The fries and Caesar are a great choice and large helpings. Could use a bit of reno in the dining room, but the new owners are doing some good work to attract a broader audience range. Have been a happy occasional patron of the Niblick for a couple years. Have had lunches, dinners and drinks there. Have to say the food quality is excellent for the price and the menu features authentic UK dishes. The wings are big and the Niblick nachos are hands down the best I have had and are huge and can be shared by 4 people. Its no wonder the place is busy every time I have been there. Not sure what the previous reviewers were looking for here. This is a pub and not 5 star dining! If you want a cold draught they have a good selection of both domestic and imported pints. It has the feel of a neighborhood pub with a Scottish-British twist. Enjoy. Slainte! Read more

The service by the wait staff is excellent. The manager and the owner are both excellent people who are the right fit for this establishment. This is a neighbourhood 'pub' where the patrons and the staff are accomodating, friendly and there is a family feel to the pub. My spouse and I are regulars there now and have enjoyed many meals prepared by their cooks. The meals range from appetizers to their many entrees: toasted western sandwich to the sirloin steak done to perfection. Whatever they prepare is done very well. Only once have I had a complaint but there was a new cook on staff. Things are great now. Try this pub out for a meal and a couple of drinks, you will not be disappointed. Have a game of pool or darts while listening to your favourite music on the techically advanced "juke box". It's not the same anymore. "Come on in to a place where everybody knows your name." Cheers! This is a college bar and like most people if you want to have a few beers and great wings this is the place to go. We ordered their TEAM COMBO special which included 20 wings, 4 potato jackets, 6 mozzarella sticks and fries plus a pitcher of draft beer. Having seen the sign on the corner of Upper Middle Rd and Sixth Line we took a chance and dropped in. It was like a small jewel of a Pub in a strip plaza. Clean, New, great staff and tried the wings and met the Chef who brought them to our table personally. He created the outstanding Menu and the wings were really, really good. Can't wait to go back!
