This was our third time dining here, and it has been a great experience every time! The servers are always friendly and helpful, and the service is fast but you don't feel rushed. I ordered cranberry juice, and they brought me a bottle of juice! (Unlike most restaurants who give you a glass full of ice with a little bit of juice...) The food is really good and not too expensive. If you want to go here for a weekend breakfast, go early because it is very popular and there is usually a long wait because it isn't a huge restaurant.
It is exam week, so it is a week of eating out. Was a little surprised by the bill to be honest. $51 for 2. Won't be doing that again. Skillet was ok. Eggs were funny and toast, well still waiting for that. When I asked 2 times for toast and it doesn't arrive, as my Dad said, next thing to ask for is the cheque. It was not real busy. Place is noisy. Crapes were ok my buddy says. Coke was pretty watered down. Orange Juice which costs about a weeks pay was best thing we had. I am not sure what the big fuss is on this place. More a upper crust want to be diner than anything. For sure the draft thing is accurate. Wow is that true
Ok Orange juice if price is no object is great. Place is noisy, line up inside and outside with a major draft issue in the winter. It is just not a pleasant spot. Waited 45 minutes to get a seat because a buddy raves about this spot. Expensive, not enough servers, slow, bottomless coffee is a joke because if you get 2 cups your lucky. Might return in the spring to try again. Winter time, out of bounds. Not worth it for what may be the best orange juice in town, with below average service, above average noise and food ok, not outstanding.
Ok this place has the best orange juice in town. No doubt about it. Be prepared to step up and pay for it, but they got it. Coffee is great. Slow to get it, slow to get repeats but its the real deal man. We have eaten here 3 times now, and I have to tell you the eggs taste funny. Don't know why, but they do. The place is really pricy, and 3 times, didn't care for the food so we are not going back. Place is always packed, so maybe it is just me and my friends. But I figure about a half dozen different people with the same complaint, there must be something funky with those eggs. Sorry, have to pass on going back and head further into downtown. Worth the trip a little further from the U of Goo
We chose Eggcetera over our more basic weekend diner so that I could have more options. It was dissapointing. Eggs Florentine turned out not to be my thing - and I requested no potatoes, so all I ate was an English Muffin. Left half the strawberry shake since it tasted really fake. The waitresses didn't ask how we were a single time. Usually if you barely touch your food a restaurant wants to know why...not here. Expensive, busy and inattentive are not worth my time.
