I had to add some props to Under the Volcano after seeing all of the bad reviews. It is my absolutely favourite restaurant in London and I regret so many of you who took the time to write a review had such bad experiences. We have never had anything but first rate food and service here, especially if you are lucky enough to have the owner as your hostess (I forget her name).
The chicken chimichangas are to die for! The atmosphere is cozy and colourful and especially nice where you can see into the neighbouring restaurant, Aroma (this would be beside the bar). A great place... but I must say, if you don't like Mexican food, don't go here!

The food was not even close to what I would call Mexican. The chicken in the chimichanga had to have been precooked packaged chicken warmed up. The burrito was full of tastless hamburger. The service was very poor and the restaurant was not all that clean. Overall a very poor experience.
